UBC Bus Stop Relocation
TransLink is considering relocating the bus stops for the 99 B-Line service on University Boulevard at Western Parkway (westbound) and Allison Road (eastbound). The proposed replacement stops would move east, approximately 450m (eastbound stop) and 700m (westbound stop), to University Boulevard and Shortcut Road.
The bus stop relocation aims to:
Reduce delays for transit vehicles and general traffic by improving the traffic flow at the intersection of University Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall;
Improve pedestrian safety by reducing pedestrian volumes at the intersection of University Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall; and
Improve transit access for the growing residential community, leləm̓ Village.

Other services (routes 4, 9, 14, and N17) would continue to stop on University Boulevard at Allison Road at the existing stops.
