Help shape new transit service for Gloucester Industrial Park

TransLink is planning a new bus route to serve the Gloucester Industrial Park as part of the 2025 Investment Plan. We’re seeking input from the Gloucester business community to help shape this service and ensure it meets staffing and operational needs.

As part of this process, we’re inviting local employers and their employees to share feedback on travel patterns and a proposed route concept. This project is fully funded and is expected to begin service in late 2026.

What’s being proposed

  • A new peak-period bus route travelling along 56 Ave between Langley Centre and Gloucester Industrial Park.
  • Service Monday to Friday, every 30 minutes during morning and afternoon peak hours.
  • A one-way loop with approximately six new stops within the industrial park (stop locations to be finalized), with the final routing subject to change.

Why your input matters

We want to hear from employers about:

  • Anticipated employee travel needs, current and anticipated shift patterns
  • Operational considerations such as walking distances, safety, and connectivity.
  • Any potential barriers that could affect employees’ ability to take transit.
