Steveston Bus Exchange Engagement

This survey has concluded.

TransLink and the City of Richmond have heard concerns from residents and businesses about the current bus circulation, and bus stop and layover locations in Steveston Village.

We are proposing changes that would reduce congestion on local streets, relocate bus layover away from adjacent businesses, and make bus turnarounds more efficient.

Your feedback on the proposed Steveston Bus Exchange will help us finalize a design that better serves the community and our customers.

Proposed changes

The Steveston Bus Exchange includes:

  • Relocate bus layover to the south side of Chatham St. between Fourth Ave. and Sixth Ave

  • Reduced congestion in front of retail businesses

  • Bus drop-off and pick-up stops retained on Chatham St. at Second Ave. to ensure local businesses are visible and accessible

  • Bus circulation changes on Seventh Ave. between Chatham and Moncton streets

  • Bus traffic reduced in residential area on Fourth Ave.

  • Enhanced bus shelters planned
